Shipping Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Shipping Policy explains how GI Arms processes and ships orders. Product availability, destination restrictions, and shipping methods may vary by item and location. All orders are subject to applicable federal, state, and local law.
Order Processing
We begin processing orders after payment is authorized and any required compliance information has been received and verified. Orders containing firearms or other regulated products may require additional review and may take longer to process. An order confirmation does not guarantee that an order can legally be fulfilled.
If we need additional information, we will contact you using the email address or phone number provided with the order. Delays in receiving required information, including Federal Firearms License information, may delay shipment.
Shipping Methods, Charges, and Delivery Estimates
Available shipping methods and charges are shown at checkout when available. Delivery dates and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, compliance review, high order volume, and events outside our control may cause delays.
Items in the same order may ship separately. When tracking is available, it will be sent to the contact information provided with the order.
Firearm Orders and FFL Transfers
Firearms that require a Federal Firearms License transfer will be shipped only to a verified Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) eligible to receive the item. The purchaser is responsible for selecting or arranging with a receiving FFL and confirming that the dealer will accept the transfer before shipment.
GI Arms must receive and verify the receiving dealer’s current license information before a regulated firearm can ship. The receiving dealer may charge a transfer fee, conduct a background check, require identification, and impose other lawful transfer requirements. Any dealer transfer fee is separate from the amount paid to GI Arms unless expressly stated otherwise.
The purchaser must satisfy all legal age, residency, identification, licensing, permit, background-check, and eligibility requirements that apply to the transaction. We may hold, cancel, or refund an order that cannot be lawfully shipped or transferred. A failed or denied transfer, an unclaimed firearm, or a receiving dealer’s refusal may result in return shipping charges or other deductions permitted by our Refund Policy.
Ammunition and Other Regulated Products
Ammunition, magazines, components, and other regulated products are shipped only where permitted. Product-specific age, identification, licensing, signature, carrier, and destination restrictions may apply. We do not ship any product to a location or recipient when prohibited by law or carrier rules. If an order cannot be fulfilled, we will contact the purchaser and cancel or adjust the affected item as appropriate.
Shipping Addresses
Please review all shipping information before submitting an order. Non-regulated merchandise will be sent to the shipping address provided at checkout. A firearm requiring an FFL transfer will be sent to the verified receiving dealer rather than the purchaser’s residential address.
Contact us promptly if an address or FFL selection needs to be corrected. We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed after processing or shipment begins. Additional carrier or return-shipping charges caused by an incorrect, incomplete, refused, or undeliverable address may be deducted from a refund where permitted by law.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments
If tracking shows a delay, loss, or delivery problem, contact us so we can review the shipment and, when appropriate, work with the carrier. Please inspect packages promptly. If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, keep the product and all packaging and contact us as soon as possible with the order number, photographs, and a description of the issue.
Do not return a firearm, ammunition, or other regulated product without first receiving instructions from GI Arms. Return authorization and lawful shipping procedures may be required.
Returns and Shipping Charges
Returns, cancellations, refunds, restocking fees, and return-shipping charges are governed by our Refund Policy. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law or the return results from our error or a qualifying damaged or defective shipment.
